Assignment

Answer one of the following two questions. Provide data to back up and support your answer:

  1. Are computer mice in use currently by adults, designed appropriately for long-term use by elementary school children (K-5th grade)?
  2. For distributing information about colleges to high school students, is it better to have students stand to use a computer in an information kiosk in the hall, or have a workstation in a cubicle that has students sit?

Put your answer into a written report of between 2 and 4 pages of text. Use graphs, data tables, and diagrams as appropriate (resulting in additional pages in your report). Put your name, the course number and name (CS6323 Human Factors) on the upper right of the first page of your report. Do not use a cover page. Give your report a meaningful title, e.g., "Can kids use the same mice as adults?" Staple the pages of your report together in the upper left corner.
